Nocturne

Nocturne is a mysterious beauty dressed in a midnight black confection of ruffled and pleated black vintage gown, elaborately beaded and trimmed with black antique lace. Her 3-tier hooped skirt is supported by many layers of black netting underneath, and over the skirt her black ruffled train is trimmed with black jet and merlot-colored beads. She comes complete with a midnight black hooded cape and a hand-beaded and feathered mask. Nocturne is as beautiful and romantic as the distant sound of night music wafting in the night wind.

Height: 40 inches

Medium: Porcelain with wired armature under a cloth body and custom-made gold silicone "glass eyes."

Edition: One-of-a-kind Original.

Tempest

Tempest, the Ice Queen. Unlike the Snow Queen in childish fairy stories, the Ice Queen represents the wintry season of snow, ice, beauty and magic. Her white net gown is hand-sewn with thousands of glittering glass and Swarovski beads, some individually hand-sewn onto the 3-dimensional lace petals on the flowing sleeves and the skirt, which ends in a long sweeping train. She also comes with a silver and gold metallic cowled cape, which is edged and sewn with clear crystal beads throughout. Her upswept hair is made of hand-dyed silk and bamboo fibre, fine as mohair, and dyed in a swirl of sky-blue, lavender, purple and white shades, much like a stormy wintry sky. She wears a tiara of clear Swarovski crystal beads.

The Ice Queen is china painted and fired multiple times, with silver and pale make-up. With an enigmatic smile, she stands a regal 40 inches tall.
